The National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) was founded in 1915 and remained at the forefront of aeronautic research and exploration until the launch of Sputnik triggered the American imagination with regards to space. NACA became NASA on October 1, 1958.
This collection of NACA documentation was donated to the University of Florida Government Document Department by former UF Provost, Gene Hemp.
